New Years Eve....Crafts Anyone?

So yes, we are partying it up. Mady is headed over to a
friends house ( yes, Grammy, she will be off the roads by 9pm) Joseph is at a sleepover, so that leaves us with just 4 kiddos tonight.

Aaron is busy making pizza for the kids for dinner, Noah is starting a Smallville Marathon (2 epsiodes down, only SIX more seasons to go!) and Juliette and I finished up some crafts pulled from the awesome book Aunt Elia bought her for Christmas.

VOILA....Tissue Paper Flowers. Arent they pretty?

Random...

I came across this old picture of Aaron. I absolutely love it. Thankfully his mom saves everything. I dont know how you cant not smile when you see this picture. Of course, if he sees that Ive posted it here, he will not be smiling. But seriously, Is it not just a priceless Kodak moment? I think so.

Monster Booty!

I just wanted to post this picture real quick before I forget. This is Annabel. This is her Monster Booty. Adorable right? And yes, that is a crown above her monsters face. These adorable pants were hand knit by a WAHM named Amy Kett. Her business is Crankypants Knits. (see link to your right). So sad that when Annie potty learns, she wont be able to wear these anymore as they are designed to be a cloth diaper cover. Good that Delilah will eventually fit into them. ;)

Yesterday Was A Very *Big* Day...

So, since your reading our blog, and its about our life, you may read things that you may not think are exciting. Such as yesterday. Very exciting for us, but maybe not so much to others. Yesterday 2 things happened. Momentous things. Things that need to be written down.
1. Annabel peed on the potty. Alot of times. This is HUGE. In a very good way. Now, if we could just get her to reconginze that she needs to pee when she has clothes on, that would be great. So this week we are spending alot of time hanging out at the house naked. Well, Annabel is naked anyways.
2. Delilah took her first steps. Granted it was only about 3 very clumsy steps but if her feet come off the ground, its a step. Right? This also, is HUGE. And yes, I know its a good thing that the baby is starting to walk but to me it only means that soon she will be 16 and driving. Ugh. Why does time have to go so fast?
I have a good idea. Well, I guess its more of a thought since ideas can happen and thoughts dont necessarily.
I really think that when God creates us, the first year should be double timed. Does that make sense? It should take babies TWO years to reach the typical ONE year milestone. THAT would make me happy.

The First Day Of My Blog

Ive decided to start a blog to keep track of all the things that Aaron, I and the kids do day to day. Being a SAHM, my days seem to run together. While I am at home, we do so much that I want to share and remember, so I thought blogging woud be a great idea for family and friends to stay connected to us. ;).

I cant wait to share our lives with everyone, one day at a time.
